EASY ONLINE MEMBERSHIP APPLICATION

  • From Eric Leirvik to the Membership (past and present) and see the reminder below to renew your FFC MVPA Membership for 2025 at a discounted level for a limited time.  For those who have renewed already, many thanks!

With the start of 2025, it is time for FFC MVPA annual
    membership renewals.

The policy for renewals of FFC MVPA memberships have been
considered and are adopted as follows.

Annual renewals of existing or previous FFC MVPA memberships
for 2025 will be $30.00, but will be discounted to $20.00 for 2025.

Your FFC MVPA membership renewal is due on 1 JAN 2025 and
will be open at the $20 renewal rate until 31 MAR 2025.

After 31 MAR 2025, the discounted rate of $20.00 will end,
and the membership renewal rate will revert to $30.00.

Due to a successful FFC MVPA Rifle Raffle, the annual fee of
$30.00 is being reduced by $10.00 to a 2025 annual fee of $20.00.

The reduction in fee will be paid for out of the FFC MVPA
    Rifle Raffle proceeds.

It should be noted many different charities and area organizations also benefited from the Rifle
Raffle proceeds with donations made to them by FFC MVPA in amounts determined
by the amount of tickets sold directly at those organizations’ events or by their
    members.  With these contributions, the
FFC MVPA acknowledges the fellowship and support of these charities and area
organizations in assisting the FFC MVPA fundraising efforts. Here is the list
of organizations who with earned a portion of our Rifle Raffle proceeds:  Camp Blanding Museum, Cops & Rodders,
Corvette Club, Flagler High Power, Grey Team, Project Savior Outdoors, Pharoahs
of St Johns, Tunnels to Towers, and Volusia Young Marines.

The main annual expense for 2025 is our Comprehensive
Liability Insurance policy which covers FFC MVPA members attending sanctioned
FFC MVPA events, as well as providing Errors and Omissions coverages.  Any questions on coverages, please contact me
    directly.

Your renewed FFC MVPA membership will include coverage for
you and your vehicle under the FFC MVPA Comprehensive Liability Insurance
Policy.  Your inclusion as a covered
member will begin immediately upon payment of your discounted FFC MVPA
membership renewal fee of $20.00(for renewals paid and processed by 31 MAR
    2025).

In addition to benefits under our Comprehensive Liability
Insurance policy, there will be members-only FFC MVPA sanctioned events,
including Jumbo Shrimp baseball games and Jacksonville Icemen hockey games
which will augment our regular club events, shows, and lunch/dinner occasions.

Hey! What's the story behind the Fighting Squirrel mascot with the Chain Gun?

The mascot of the First Florida Chapter is the FIghting Florida Squirrel.  You will notice he is well-prepared to protect that which is his.
The “Squirrel” design we use as our unofficial mascot and logo was created for FFC-MVPA by Mr. F. Hanley.  Aside from being a charter member of the legendary Lockheed Martin  “Skunk Works” which was the home of the wizards that created some of the most iconic and aircraft in the USAF arsenal (the SR-71 Blackbird, the Stealth Bomber and FIghter), Mr. Hanley was a key creator of the Gatlin-type ‘chain gun’ held by our Fighting Squirrel.
We offer 5″ all-weather and durable “Fighting Squirrel” decals in our FFC-MVPA Online Store.
So get one or two or three while supplies last and display some truly historic and humorous artwork to show your support of the FFC-MVPA!
